Hi, have windows XP home. I cant find the location of that sound recorder
under 'accessories'. At my other pc, it is under accessories>entertainment
(I think). But not at this pc. I can see the narrorator and other media
players. any ideas how to place it back there and first of all, find it?

What happens if you press Start, click run, and put this in without the
quotes? "sndrec32.exe"

thanks Galen! ! I had a feeling that there was something that I could place
in 'run' & find. However, how can I get it to get back in the accessories
place where I can easily find it?Also, if I clean out my RUN entries, i may
not remember this thing (sndrec32.exe) to type. thank you

WELL, I figured out how to place it in the correct area. guess I have to
work on a few things too by myself, especially when it is so simple as this
was. thanks for your help.

Not a problem. If you right click and drag something when you release the
right click button you'll be given an option to place a shortcut there. Just
a handy trick of the trade you might find useful sometime in the future.
