sound problem

Um, yeah. I just completely restored my HD (formatted
and replaced the OS) and now I can't seem to get my sound
working. I can't even find the volume control mixer
thingy. Every time I try to find out what's wrong, it
says it's either not there, or the sound card is
damaged. Though, I know the sound card cannot be damaged
because it worked the day before this happened! if anyone
has any way to help me, or a way for me to DL the
software for volume control, please email me at

Newest drivers may be available from the card manufacturer's WEBsite.
