Sound problem

Banging head against wall now. I completely reinstalled Windows XP only to
find I still have a problem with sound. When I put in a CD it sounds like
it's in slowwwwwwww motion. My CD player and my DVD player both do the same
thing so I doubt it's both of those. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Update the drivers from either one of your Utility disks or the manufacturers
website that are more compatible with XP, they are free.
