If you take a look at Google groups you should find plenty of references to
this, but no solution.
I did post something a few days ago regarding the way DV stores audio, the
fact it isn't synchronised to the video, and also the fact that poor edits
can cause the above mentioned sound glitches, and invited comments on it,
but none were forthcoming.
My theory is still that edits in MM2 introduce audio/video synchronisation
errors which results in the pops and glitches that you hear. To my mind
it's a bug - it doesn't happen to me when I use another piece of editing
software (which uses the Microsoft DV-AVI codec - I assume MM2 uses this!)
