Hi everybody,

I want to insert sound on my presentation. What is the
best way to get wav songs to play in the back so my
presentation doesn't get so big?. I tried putting a song
from a CD but my project went from 4MB to 50MB, I know
that for must of you this most be very simple, but this
is my first project.

Thanks for your help!!!

The WAV file was embedded in your presentation. There is a way to "link" to the
WAV, but it seems to be a rather moot point. The file is required for the
presentation, so whether you link or embed, you'll still need 50 MB of data.
There is some benefit to embedding, since links break easily. Bottom line . . .
I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it is causing you a problem you
haven't mentioned.

Thanks Glenna, I will try to do so.

Hi Jorge,

You'll need to convert the sound file using a sound editing program. I
typically save sound files for presentations at 8 Mhz, mono when I don't need
high quality.
