Yes, wav's are the only multimedia files that can be
embedded - others are linked. If the wav is too large -
per your prior post - you can often dramatically reduce
the file size by reducing wav quality and, probably, the
user will never know the difference. If the file is large
because it's ripped from a CD, try resaving it in a
different wav format and reduce the quality. For example,
open the file in Sound Recorderor other audio editing
software. Check Properties. It's probably stereo and at
44 kbs or more. Resave as Microsoft ADPCM, mono and cut
the bitrate in half. Check the file size difference and
confirm the sound is still OK. Experiment a bit and see if
this helps the problem.
