sound for some slides

im using powerpoint 2007 and i want to have a sound play continuously between
four slides; these slides often link back between each other, so the sound
has to play until it stops at the fifth slide; is there any way i can do
this? please help, i need to finish this very soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
If the sound is added under Slide Transition (will have to be in wav format),
you can set "Stop Previous Sound" on the fifth slide.

If the sound is added under Insert > Movies and Sound > Sound from File,
perhaps you can add an empty sound file (can be done easily if you have
software like Audacity, which is free) on the fifth slide. (The empty sound
file has to be in the same format as your music)

i had thought of that second idea
but i still need that other sound to stop so both sounds wont overlap with
each other
as for the first idea, the music restarts between those slides; i would like
it to play without interruption until its stop in the fifth slide
btw, thx for answering one of my questions
a lot of ppl havent answered my questions
