How can I suppress the "sound player" page when people click on a picture to
hear a unique selected sound file?
I want the web page to remain while playing the sound.
Any advice woul;d be appreciated.

Are you saying that when the visitor clicks the link your page is left
behind and their browser goes straight to the sound file?
if so, the easiest way to fix it is right click the hyperlink and set the
target to "_blank", that way your sound file will open in a new window.
there are lots of other ways to play a sound file which are "nicer".
what are you _actually_ trying to do?

Thanks for your input, Chris..
I want a visitor to click on a book cover (one of several with different
sound files) to hear a sound file (MP3) . I want the page with the book cover
to stay while the sound file is playing. I do not want a window with the
sound player coming up.
Any help on this will be appreciated. Thanks

I am wondering the same thing. I tried to insert the sound file using a
hyperlink, but it doesn't load to the remore site.
