If it is embedded, then it is a wav file. If you publish the presentation as an
html file. PowerPoint will extract all embedded objects.

Hi! Does anybody know how can one retrieve a sound file embedded/inserted in
a pps/ppt file? It stands to reason that since I can hear it, it must be in
some temp memory somewhere, but where and how can I get to it?
