there is so sound device and everytime i try to install nothing happenes i reboot and everthing......should i reformat?

I have been told by an ms enginer to reformat, the problem may be missing dll files if your sound driver is working fine

It may well be missing dll files download service pack 1 and install it this should replace missing dll files. It did 4 me and now i have sound.
