Sound does really matter

Dear All,
Could someone help me out with this:
I have a SOundBlaster Extigy device hooked up to USB. Besides that I have a
Logitech USB headset/microphone. Is it possible to get line in recording via
the SB and mic recording as well as audio playback via the headset?

Should be, if the headset and line-in input jacks are plugged into the
right holes in the soundcard.
 
Sorry if I wasn't clear enough:
The line-in goes into the SB extigy which is connected to my ThinkPad via
usb.
Besides that my logitech headset/mic is also connected to another usb port.
In CP these are listed as seperate sound devices. How can I use both at the
same time?
