You've encountered error message 80040256 while using
Windows Media Player. The following information might
help you troubleshoot the issue.You do not have a sound
card installed on your machine, the sound card is not set
up correctly, or another application is using the sound
card
 
Does your audio card (or onboard sound) function correctly when NOT using
Windows Media Player?
