My computer won't play any sounds because it says that I
need to install a sound card. I know that there is
already one installed. So, what's the problem?

Download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website and install them.
 
hi maggie, let us know things like ... did it just stop..
did you install xp onto a new pc etc... the more we know
the better we can answer you.. like galley said if you
know your manufacturer of the sound card, get the latest
drivers.
