Your only hope is that you know specifically what
brand/model of sound card you have and get the drivers
for it. If it's a PCI card and you're not sure of the
brand you might have to do a (google.com) search using
any names or part numbers you can read off the card.
Most cases you can find them.
Be sure to include driver(s) in the search string. Keep
in mind that some older sound cards may not have drivers
available for XP or 2000...so you mileage may vary here.
