Sound card problems

I have a Celeron 2.0, 768mb Ram, 60gb HDD, and running xp
pro. I installed the drivers and then installed a new
sound card (tsunami 6channel pci sound card)and now my
computer will not get to the logon screen it reboots
itself before getting to that screen and over and over.
When i pull the sound card out everything is fine. I
have onboard sound which i disabled before installing the
new card and enabled it when the new card worked and
didn't lose my sounds. Please Help!!

try a different slot for the sound card, you may have a conflict.
or try a different sound card

I have tried different slots and get the same result, i
don't have any other pci sound cards to test.

Sounds like you may have a corrupted driver. Check in
device manager to see if this is the case.
