I recently upgraded my processor from Pent. II to a Pent.
III. And from Win95 to Win00. I now have a ringing sound
coming from my speakers, and no other sound. I thought
that my speakers had gone bad, so I purchased new ones.
Still the same problem. Please someone tell me if you
know what the problem is....I'm getting quite frustrated!!!

The vxd drivers used under a 95-based Windows are not usable on an
NT-based Windows. Update the drivers for your sound card to ones that
designed for use under Windows 2000.
