sound card driver

i need a sound card driver but i don't know the name of
the sound card. its one that is built in the the mother
board.. no program will tell me the driver that i need...
and all it says in device manager is that i need
a "Multimedia Audio Controller".... i know the sound card
works because i just got the computer and it worked when
i first got it.. plz, i need the driver!! my comp is a P4
2.5GHZ if that help PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a look in the manual for the motherboard that should have come with your PC - it should tell you there what kind of on-board audio system you have.
