I upgraded from 5600 > 5728 32 bit - Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS is not found.
I tried installing the software/drivers I used in the 3 previous Beta
versions, no luck.
Anybody else have this issue? solution?
TIA

Version 2.10.0000 works fine for me. This is the beta2 version downloadable
from Creative.
(see http://uk.europe.creative.com/support/downloads/ )

You may have to ensure that the previous driver has been fully uninstalled.

I have a similar problem with an Audigy 1 card and the upgrade from 5600 to
5728, using the Creative Beta 2 drivers. Sound was lost, and it won't
restore. Have uninstalled the drivers in safe mode but still no go. I had
this problem in RC1 too. When a BSOD occurred because of the sound drivers
in a clean install of RC1 I couldn't get sound reinstalled.

The bottom line is that the Creative Beta 2 drivers are flaky. They work
for some installations, on others they will work for awhile then crash, and
when they go you can't get it reinstalled. Creative has said they will have
a stable version out for RTM that will work on Audigy 1-4 cards.
