Running build 5472...

Right after (what I call) the blue microsoft orb and just as the green
"please press ctrl+alt+delete" screen shows up, the old XP start sound plays.
This is BEFORE log in. I don't want that and I can't figure out where to turn
it off. I've set all my sounds to none and it still plays so it isn't profile
dependant.

Anyone know?

Thanks

All those event-driven sounds are in the Sound Themes list, as in XP. Click
Start, type sou and click Audio Devices and Sound Themes. Click the Sounds
tab and scroll through the list, removing sound from any event you don't
want to associate a sound with anymore (Start Windows, Windows Logon, etc.)

Thanks for the reply. However, I have my Sound Scheme set to NONE and I still
get the sound. This is not profile dependant as it occurs BEFORE login.
I am using a post-Beta 2 build. I don't remember this problem with Beta 2.
