My computer came with ME
I have added an additonal operating system (Windows/Office
2000 Professional

I ahve an option at atratup to choose which system I would
like to run. When I choose the 2000 system it will not run
my speakers. I have been to control panel on this system
and you can not make choices in the peoperties nor does it
recognize any. BUT if you choose the ME system and go
through control panel it finds audio and you can make
choices. Is my computer running the sound/audio on ME even
though I am running 2000? If so, how can I either make it
work on oth or awitch over to 2000?

You should instll audio dirver for WIN2K, firstly, your WIN2K must find
these audio device, you may check in hardware manager,in multimdedia device
section, if there are several devices with yellow marks, just install proper
driver for Win2K, the sound will be back. If nothing there, you should try
to install drivers manually, maybe you need to change some setting in BIOS,
plug and ply section. PLease check the previous one first
