If you select the insert sound option for a ppt do you have to have
the cd / sound clip / sound file available each time you want the sound to
play on the ppt.
e.g. if you make the ppt on one computer - what happens if viewed on another
computer. Same goes for the movie files.

Cheers ppl :-)

if you want to view paradise; simply look around and view it, any thing you
want to; do it,there's nothing to it !!?

Sounds and movies are not embedded into the PowerPoint
presentation - they are linked, which means if you
transfer the presentation to another computer, you must
also transfer the sound and movie files as well. I make
custom music beds for PowerPoint (as well as other
applications), and my experience has been that .wav
and .avi files work better (for PowerPoint) than .mpg or
mp3.

Incidentally, if you need custom music for your
presentations, my rate are very reasonable, thanks to
modern technology.
