I am using a system with AMD Duron processor, a VIA
chipset m/board with built-in sound card.
If i disable my sound blaster sound, the system works just
fine. But when i use the SB sound card with the built-in
sound turned off, the system will hang when:
i play my mp3 while logging on to the internet.

I already have the latest driver of my sound card
installed. So what have caused all this to happen?
thanx

Hi,

Your sound drivers may not be installed correctly.
Make sure you have downloaded the correct sound drivers
from creative.com
Previously I upgraded my 5 years old PC from Win ME to XP
Pro. I then downloaded the sound blaster Live UNipack
drivers from creative.com and it works perfectly with XP
Pro.
Also, before you install the sound drivers, make sure to
remove the old sound drivers first then reboot. Disable
the antiVirus software before to execute the installation.

Hope it helps.

Peter
