hello all,
my soundcard is configured in the BIOS at IRQ 10.
In winXP in the resource setting, the same sound card is configured at
IRQ 17. This was done automatically, and it is impossible to change,
because the resource change boxes are greyed out.
The sound card is not working, i tried the everything the help and
support wizard told me to do, step by step, but still the sound card
is not working.
anyone has any solution? should i change the IRQ setting for the sound
card in the BIOS setup? or better leave it at IRQ 10?
thanks
Kurtis

Is your sound card built onto the mother board...? What sound card is it..?
What type of system do you have...?

If your using Windows XP or W98--Try opening device
manager & go to your sound card & uninstall or remove it--
then reboot--windows should recognize & replace it (with
the correct IRQ settings).
