oppsie, just noticed that my date was out by one day.. but still having the
problems installing this

try down loading the drivers again and makew sure they are the vista ones...
and try to unzip to a folder then use the update driver mode and force the
path and driver by passing the install ...(setup)

I have an Audigy OEM card and the Vista and X64 drivers didn't work for me!
The XP 32 bit drivers did partially as I don't have surround sound but I do
have sound!

Until Creative releases drivers for Beta 2, you need to install the XP (or
x64) drivers. I had the same problem. Installed the x64
drivers...twice...and sound now works.

Note. You have to install the drivers twice. It will work however.

Has anyone had success installing the drivers for the Sound Blaster Audigy2
value card.

I have: down loaded the driver from Sundblaster.com

tried to : run the install program.. and
Unzip the file and do a manula install

but keep on getting the same thing : "Windows cannot load the device driver
for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"

ok thanks

Download the old beta drivers for build 5231 from creative website.
Don't run the .exe! Extract it with WinRAR. Then from the device
manager, install the driver by giving it the path to the drivers (where
you extracted the .exe\Drivers\wdm)
It worked fine for my Audigy 2 ZS

this is the only way I've gotten everything working completely (no
pops, hisses, not limited to stereo sound, etc.). I can reproduce it
over and over again, so it works.

By using the "bcdedit -setnointegritychecks ON" in your instructions I got
the "Blue screen of death!" I was able to turn this off by doing a
"bcdedit -setnointegritychecks OFF." Don't know if I can reproduce this over
and over again but I'm not going to try it again.

I used hawkeye's method, it worked like a charm! Seems on the creative boards
that his solution is the only solution. The only reason it wouldn't work is
if you don't follow his directions correctly, and they're not hard to follow.
I hope it works out for you!

for vista 32-bit use xp pro drivers and for 64-bit version use xp pro 64-bit
drivers
it worked for me
