They only mention that the download is for Windows 3.1. Wouldn't
that make it the 16 bit version?
Praetorian is looking for the 32 bit
version.
===========================================================Is there any in existance? And if, was it made freeware, too? I think
Praetorian is just guessing and doesn't really know anything about the
particularities of this program.

Gabriele ... your post comes from jumping into a thread without knowing what
others have said before you came along. The regulars here know that there
was a
32-bit version of Willowpond Mediarack. No guessing about it! Further,
I know all about the capabilities of the program .. having had the program
before.
Now, if you know where it can be found .. then come back with something
useful.
I have made it available to Burnr.
Patience please.

The 32 bit version is called WillowMEDIA and is available for download
here:

As I said earlier, it crashed my system. Maybe others will have better
luck.
Alastair said:This page says it is shareware, for win 95 and 98, so may be 32 bit.
No link to a homepage for a description of license - no idea whether
it is freeware - so I didn't bother - SOS will no doubt post a link
in due course
John said:The download file is named "wm_trial.exe", and when you start to run it
(took me 30 seconds to download using my fiber-optic cable connection),
you get a window that says "Willow Pond WillowMEDIA Evaluation Copy" I
would tend to think that it's not freeware. I'm unwilling to install it
to find out, especially after reading that it crashed donutbandit's
computer. However, thanks to donutbandit for providing the link since
lots of people were curious.
Don't bother with the patches.Praetorian said:Attention all!
Willow Media is indeed freeware. Willow Point itself says so, right on its
now defunct website.
It specifies that the program is freeware. The WMTrial.exe version 1.01
currently mentioned for
download in earlier posts is 32-bit, and is the same 'kick-ass' ensemble
bespoken by SOS. It does NOT
come from Willow Pond! You are downloading it from some server where
somebody has it
archived. Of course, it will say SHAREWARE! Think about it a moment. When
Willow Pond
itself says you can have it free now ... I am going to believe them. There
exists a (heretofore illegal)
set of two patches to 'fix' WillowMedia. Since the program is now free, as
announced by the
company itself, I should think that the patches may be applied with clear
conscience. Enjoy!!
As this is a freeware forum, it would not kosher to say where to locate the
patches ... eh? Dig for them.
