sorting

Southern at Heart

I have a sheet (sheet1) that has 4 columns of names, A, B, C, & D. The
number of names in each column will change
On another sheet (sheet2) I want to list all of these names. I want to list
all the names from column A, sorted alphabetically, then all the names from
column B, sorted ...
Is this possible?

Copy column A first and in the same cells, in column B, put "A", same thing
for each column. Then,sort columns A & B, column B first, column A, second.
Clear column B

Just copying and pasting won't work for what I'm trying to do. Let me
explain again:
The names on sheet1 will be changing, as with the number of names. But at
any given time, the user should be able to view the whole thing on sheet2 -
all names from all 3 columns sorted as stated earlier. I am needing some
active links - something lniking to each column, sorting it and adding it to
the final column of names on sheet2.
