sorting

using "Excel" i have a complete page of info. and need
help on sorting. i can only get one column to sort at a
time, this leaves the rest of the info. out of the sort.
 
If you've got the sheet set up as a list, you should make sure you select only one cell in the column, not the whole column
If you have a heading row, you can simplify dorting by more than one column at a time by clicking one cell in the list, and then going to Data-->Sort
All of the columns you want to sort together should be contiguous

instead of just highlighting the one column, highlight the entire spreadsheet or data in question. end result is all you data will move together and driven off by your sort parameters
