i am working with a new database in which apartment information is kept.
there are forms and subforms all over the place. when i produce reports,
there is one hall that does not produce the suites in chronological order.
the problem is that i cannot locate where to correct the sort order for this
specific hall because the form is buried. any ideas?

I'm not certain what a "form" might have to do with the sort order. Forms
are only a device to view, enter, or edit the data; the data itself is
stored in tables, but none of these have any effect on sort order in a
report. Nor do I, really, know what you mean by "form is buried".

In design view of the report, click on the upper-left-most little box, right
click, and choose "Sorting and Grouping" -- that is the only thing that
affects the sorting of the information in the report.
