Hello,

I am using Excel 2003 and I have 8,408 rows and 8 columns
For some reason when sorting it only sorts the first 8352.

This is causing problems when using the VLookup function.
It appears that it is only recognizing the first 8352 rows
and does not look any further. This prompted me to try
resorting then I discovered that it doesn't sort all the
rows. Any help would be great. Thanks Bob L.

Are you certain all cells in the column(s) on which you're sorting are all
numbers or all text? If you have mixed text and numbers where the text cells
look like numbers, the column would appear not to have been sorted completely.

What result do you get from =COUNT(SortKeyColumn), where SortKeyColumn is the
range address for the column on which you're sorting?

I would try to highlight the entire sheet, then sort by the column you choose. I use this often when sorting close to 60,000 rows

You may also try to format your data before running the sort: ie - =value(cell) for #'s, =trim(cell) for any as you may have spaces within your data

Hope this helps.
