Sorting in a summary report

I have created a summary report(no detail) that indicates
% loss in 22 regions. It currently automatically ranks the
data in region order. Is it possible to change this and
have the report ranked in the loss % field.

Open the report in Design View and go to View | Sorting &
Grouping. Under Field/Expression, select your percent
field. Under Sort Order, select Ascending.

You can only sort by values in the report's recordsource. If the % isn't in
the record source, you will need to either convert you query to a totals
query or combine it with a totals query.
