Sorting contacts by First Name, Last Name

My contacts appear last name, first name and I want to
reverse the order. I tried using the sort command but to
no avail. How do I do this?

Thanks.
 
Where are you trying to sort them? In the Address List or in the Contacts
folder itself?

(I changed my reply address; remove all CAPS and _underscores_ from the
