sorting by a field in a subreport

Maybe this is not possible? In my conference db, I have a report listing all
the presentations for the final program. It sorts by day, then session time.
However, I also have a subreport that identifies the presenter for each
session. My client wants the sessions during a particular time slot to be
sorted by presenter last name. Any suggestions?
 
There should be a way to add the presenter to the main report's record
source where you can then use it for sorting.
