Sorting and Grouping

This is a re-post as my first one has not shown up
I have a report that I copied so that I wouldn't have to re-create the whole thing. The origional had two options for sorting, this new one should have none. I tried deleting the sorting options, and I can delete the field name but not the "Ascending" or "Descending" options. It causes an error when I try to open the report. Is this a known problem, it seems strange to me. If not, what do I do to fix this problem, as I ahve no information on it in any of my resources

Don't just delete the field name. Click the selector on the left and press
the delete key. Deleting the field as you are currently doing is the same as
deleting the value of a field in a record. Clicking the selector on the left
is like selecting a record for deletion.

I replied to your original post, thanks for being more specific this time. In stead of deleting the field name highlight the whole thing by selecting the box to the left and push "delete" you will get a confirmation screen. this will actualy remove the sort, the other way just changes it and in return you get errors.
