Hello.
I need to sort a report (the report is based upon the
results of a query). I would like to be able to select on
a form which field I would like to sort by, eg generate a
report which is sorted in order of date, ref #, name etc
etc - but have a combo box to select which field.
I have tried this by having a combo box display the
available fields then under Sorting And Grouping in the
reports design window I have entered an expression to get
the contents of the combo in the format [Forms]!
[FormName].[Combo] but this doesn't appear to work.
I'm quite new to Access so sorry if this is obvious.
