I have been maintaining a list of titles (now totaling
about 270 titles listed in 3 columns on 3 pages)of Law &
Order shows that I have seen for the past several weeks.
Each week I add all the new titles at the end with
underlining, after having removed all underlining from the
standing list, and then sort the list using "tables"
This week when attempting to sort the list, Word popped up
with a notice "Word can not sort the selection".
Before, when I had tried to sort using the A-Z sort symbol
on the toolbar it would simply refuse to sort --- now it
presents a message "does not contain a valid list" ---
what is a valid list, or how do you convert an otherwise
looking list to a "valid List"?
