Here is the problem I am having.

My boss wants me to sort the lists of movies on our inventory by las
name but in excel the movies names are in one column. How can I sor
the movies by last name when they are all together like this? I'v
tried sort but going by alphabetical it won't do last names.

My boss won't let me break the names of the movies up to make sortin
easier.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

What exactly is the "last name" of a movie?

The last word in the title doesn't fit that bill all the time.
"Barber Shop 2"
"Kill Bill, Vol. 2"
"Comic Book, The Movie"
"Mystic River"

How would you propose to handle these ?

Will he let you temporarily create additional columns and then remove them
when the sort is done?
