sort windows in the taskbar?

I'm using win98se. Has anyone found anything that allows the windows in
the taskbar to be drag and dropped to change the order in which they are
displayed?

No, but I have seen (but not used) a program that allows you to order
them. Look for taskbarcommander.zip.
