Hi,

All my contacts are displayed as "Firstname Last Name" and it looks fine
under contact folder. While opening address book, I am seeing "lastname,
first name" instead, nomatter how I sort the name by first name or last
name. It all displays as lastname first.

I thought that maybe the sort feature is not working but it works...
What happened to my Outlook2000 SP-3(9.0.0.6627)?

Thanks

Tools menu > Services > Highlight the Outlook Address Book service > Click
Properties > Set sort order

I don't see "service" under the Tool menu, which program are you refering
to? I assumed it is about Outlook??

Maybe I did not explain it well.
I meant that the "dspay as" always default to "lastname, firstname" which is
not I am used to...

Thanks

Then post your mail support mode next time. Of course I'm talking about
Outlook. We can't answer when you don't post the necessary information.
Now you're asking a different question. First you were asking how to sort
the Outlook address book by Last Name. Now you're asking how to change the
Display As field?
Please clarify your question and include your mail support mode when you
reply (line 2 of Help | About, if you don't know.
