sort data by name in first column and copy to individual worksheets by name

Does anyone have code handy to sort data into various categories by the
type of data specified in column 1 and then copy the respective data
into predefined worksheets with the same category names?

Look for:
Update Sheets from Master -- uses an Advanced Filter to send data from
Master sheet to individual worksheets -- replaces old data with current.
