I see how you can change the default way names are displayed (on new entries) & how to change them individually, but is there a way (other than one at a time!) to make a global change so all contacts are displayed First Name, Last Name?
I'm using Outlook 2000 on one computer & Outlook 2003 on another.
Thanks-

Getting warmer.
Specify your default view for Contacts. I can't see it from here.
Are you saying you want to change the File As... field for existing
Contacts?

My current view is Detailed Address Cards. I have quite a few contacts listed in the Last Name, First Name format & then quite a few listed in the First Name, Last Name format. I would like to have them all show up as First Name, Last Name. Since I have alot of contacts, I didn't want to have to do these one at a time. Is there a way to do them all at once?
Yes, I want to change the File As filed for ALL my contacts without having to do them one at a time.

You'd have to use code to do that.

EXCELLENT!
Can I email this form to another user & let them run it, as well?
Or will I have to set it up on their computer?
(Obviously, I'm a scripting dummy!)
Could you recommend a good book on this subject?
Thanks, again-
Mike

The best resource I know is:

I never try to answer programming questions. I always ask Sue.
