Sorry to report this had no effect at all; I'm guessing those popup menu
items are stored somewhere either in one of the windows folders or in the
registry, and have to be altered or deleted to change the popup menu, like
renaming a password to remove the old password prompt in older Windows
versions?

What had no effect on what? You need to stick with your original thread.

So people know WTF you're replying to...

When replying to a message, include enough original material to be
understood.

Because...

It is possible to see a response to a message before seeing the original.

It is possible to see a response to a message without seeing the
original.

Giving context helps everyone.

OE | Tools | Options | Send tab | Select Include message with reply |

Include message with reply
[[Specifies whether to include the text of the original message when you
reply to a message. You can edit or cut any of the text. If you clear this
check box, the body of your message contains only the text you type or
paste.]]

Staying in the same message thread couldn't hurt anything either.

I apologize, I didn't hit Reply, I hit New Post by mistake, my bad. But, I
did go back and then Reply to the original thread, titled "taskbar power
options popup menu." Again, sorry for the mistake...
