Hi all,
Im having a few problems with Sophos AV when installed along side Windows
Defender.
Scenario: 2 Clean Windows XP SP2 installations. Windows Firewall turned off.
Windows Defender installed on one of the two machines.
Sophos AV pushed out to both machines using Sophos Management Console. In
each case, the installation seems to succeed. Inspection reports that the
machine with Defender installed does not adhere to the Sophos group update
policy. Any attempt to rectify the problem fails.
As Defender does not identify sophos as any kind of threat, it cannot be
tagged as an 'allowed item'. There seem to be no options within Defender to
create exceptions or flag sophos as safe.
Any information or suggestions you may have would be greatlly appreciated.
Many thanks
