I also have a sony mmv DCR IP7E and as you say Movie
shaker is rubbish, Pinnacle 8 software is compatible with
MMV and is recomended by Sony I have used it but have had
problems with this software crashing and having to
reload it again after downloading a registry cleaner from
pinnacle support it would be easy to use if it worked
properly.
Also after inporting video and editing and burning to
disc which did not work properly.Even though I have
deleted all video files from the computer I have nearly
six gigabites missing from my hard drive memory ? very
reluctant to try any more video inporting in case I lose
more memory.
I think Sony MMV stinks hope you have better luck than I
have.
