Heya people, hope you all had a nice x-mas :)

Anyways, i got a new mobile for christmas and basically, i was wondering if i can just copy my whole itunes folder into the mobile phone via mycomputer.

If not, is there a converter i can use so that it converts all my mpeg4 shizzle into Atrac/mp3?

Cheers

what phone do you have exactly ? you'll more than likely have to convert them to mp3's for them to work although AAC's should work

Using a Sony Ericsson W850i phone

I worked out that I can rig it up with MPEG4's however the tunes i baught off itunes are locked so i can't whack them on the phone. Is there any way i can put the locked songs onto my phone without having to burn them onto disc?

theres a DRM stripper floating about the net somewhere (google mytunes ;))

that should sort you out

If you take an Itunes-bought track recorded at 128kbps quality, then re-compress that to MP3, it is going to sound like crap. That is basically like getting a picture via fax machine - and then faxing that faxed-recieved page to another fax machine.

I'd say cut your losses and dont buy any more Itunes music or bother trying to re-record it. Just re-rip your CD's or get music from friends.

Cheers man - I came up with a solution anyways!

allofmp3.com is your friend :)
