Sony DSC-P71 Digital Camera

I have a Sony dsc-p71 cybershot digital camera and I can
not get it to down load the picures onto my computer; I
have followed Sonys instalation rules to the T. So do you
have any ideas?
 
I believe this device is a PTP and MS (mass storage device). Depending on
which mode you have the camera in, the device should show up as either a
drive letter in Explorer or as a digital camera in the Camera and Scanner
Wizard. In either case, the device should show up in My Computer. Check
there first and see if you can access the device from there. (It may be
you're looking for the device in Explorer as a driver letter, but instead
the camera is using PTP driver or visa-versa.)
