i cannot view digital image on my pc
i have installed picture package and put the lead into my handycam and usb
port
but image will not transfer
 
i have been on your web page and checked my ieee 1394 it is ok
i connect the lead i got with sony dcr-trv255e to a usb port and turn play
 
Hi Liz,
You can't transfer using usb. You need to use firewire, also known as i-link
by Sony or IEEE1394, from the camcorder to the pc. Do not use the USB cable,
this is really for stills only. Have the cam connected and turned on to vcr
position, powered by the mains and not battery.
