I used to use the Sony prog to burn data/music Cds (what was it called?
Extreme?)as it was small and quick. I later bought a DVD burner which is
not supported and was wondering if there have been any recent updates to
the prog? I just want to use it for burning CDs.

TIA,
R.

Don't think it's been changing lately. It was one of those nearly generic
programs that were passed from company to company and used as bundled
software. I notice that other recording software looks very much like Sony
CD Extreme, so I think many sprang from some common source. I liked it a lot
and it would burn to my DVD now and then. In the end it was very capricious
and wouldn't let me choose the DVD for recording, so I ditched it for
CDBurnerXP Pro3. I think it's super.

Is your drive in this list?

If so, you can update the program here....
