Sony being A'holes again

Nothing wrong with shutting down a company who's platform was a fail from the start and they were losing money. They have closed and relaunched a couple of times. If something doesn't work the first time, chances are it won't work the second time.

Aye, my thoughts were much the same as ED's, Sony may have been performing a public service taking something that (imo) was a bad idea from the start and erasing it.

Having said that, I may be wrong but that was my first impression.

I would state, however, I have no great love for Sony, they've been guilty of some despicable behavior in the past, their worst one, imo, putting malware onto audio CD's. Runner-up was probably promising that Linux would run on their console then introducing compulsory firmware that made this impossible.

Those, then, are my thoughts :)
