Song on Media Player are now skipping......

Songs are skipping durning play. I will go back and play
that section over agsin and it will be fine...
It has only here in the last few wweks. I have a Creative
sound card and 5 speaker set up.
Thanks for any help, without you guys helping out here,
somethings I would be lost.

You might have other programs running in the background
along the lines of spyware.
Download Adaware and Lavasoft.com, and you can't go
wrong. I have the same kind of skipping with videos
sometimes. They'll skip the first time through, but
played a second time and they'll play smooth. I'm not
sure why, but maybe it just has to do with insufficient
computer parts like memory or cpu.
