I am trying to help my daughter put a song we downloaded into the PP how can
i do this and can i change the format?

If you downloaded it from iTunes than you can not legally use it in a
presentation. iTunes has a rather explicit license agreement (you know, the
thing we tend to Ok thru without really reading).

You need to ...
1) Seek a different source that does not have the legal restrictions
2) Contact the copyright owner for the song and ask their permission and
obtain a copy in a shareable format
3) Find out if you or Little Bee is covered under any form of Bulk Copyright
clearance house (CCLI or others)

These copyright issues are coming more to the forefront as the DRM industry
kicks into high gear. I would start by suggesting that you go back and read
the EULA for iTunes, then decide if you want to continue to subscribe.

There are many illegal programs (some for free, even) on the web that will
change file formats, but you could be setting yourself up for a load of
trouble by using them. I strongly recommend against using anything
downloaded from iTunes in a presentation, ever.
